Excitement is a brewin'

It's almost here, ahhhhhh!!! Sons of Anarchy will be back on TV for Season 4 on Sept 6th. I just want to get up and do a happy dance. Im grinning ear to ear talking about it, can you tell?

This past spring I kept seeing all the 'guys' talk about this show on Facebook so I decided to make it my summer obligation to watch the show. Little did I know that I would become OBSESSED. I finished 3 seasons in less than 2 weeks, crazy I know! If you do not watch this show then you need to. I know, who really cares about a show that involves a bad ass motorcycle club...see it's not that bad. While watching it I grew very fond of Jax aka Charlie Hunnam. OHHH EMMM GGGGG he is S-E-X-Y!!!! No worries, I have mended my heart back together and I am now head over heels in love with my TV boyfriend, Jax Teller.

Don't forget to tune in on Sept. 6th at 10 pm on FX to check out all the greatness I'm talking about. Trust me you don't want to miss the love of my life, Jax. Have a wonderful wednesday! (ps, sorry I have been a bad blogger lately but I have been really down and out for the past few weeks, I am trying to start this whole blog thing back up) :)

Sorry about that...

I wanted to brighten everyone's day. This is what happens when I get bored at work :)

I know I have been a stranger to the blogger world for a few months but no worries IM BACK! Sorry I have been away but I have been super busy with work and having a good summer. I decided back a before summer started that I was going to have a fantastic summer since this is my last college summer and could possibly be my last summer to do what I want.  So far I have been having a blast and cant wait to see what else is in store.
As far as the festivities go, I enjoyed a nice vacation at Isle of Palms (my FAV place ever) with my family. There are things in your life that you are so thankful God blessed you with and that would be my family. None of them read this blog but I wanted to tell everyone how special these 5 girls are to me and how much I love them. I absolutely adore my five step-sisters,  their precious beautiful children and I guess they married some great men. (hahaha) It's not only the sisters I adore, I am so glad they have goofy, great husbands that accepted Dusty like they have known him for years, Such a great feeling to know they truly love and get along so well with their future brother in law.  It's a great feeling to sit back, talk with my sisters, and watch the "guys" get along so well. As far as the beach trip, we had a BLAST...who wouldn't have a blast in a 6 bedroom house with 13 adults, 7 kids, and 3 dogs- Even though it sounds packed it was so much FUN and we can't wait to do it again. During the week, we the GIRLS tanned, the guys went deep sea fishing (well their stories is they HATED it because they guy that took them had no clue what he was doing, long story bahahahahaha), the girls got feathers, went to the aquarium, spent a day downtown, ate way too much, drank way too much, and played cornhole from sun up to sundown and then got fussed at by the neighbors. What a week we had, definitely one to put down in the books. It was so much fun that the day we were leaving I looked over to find my Chloe crying. I asked her why she was crying and she said, "I just don't to go home, I want to stay at the beach forever because I love my family." HOW FREAKING SWEET, I started to tear up. We had such a blast that we are already planning another trip next summer.
Pictures to sum up the week...more to come but this is all I could grab off Facebook this morning. Hope you enjoy as much as we did looking back through the pictures :)

Besides the beach trip, I have been busy working EXPO, freshmen orientation. This was my second year working EXPO and I had a BLAST. I have grown very fond of my fellow workers and formed great friendships. Most of the time I just wanted to crawl back into bed but we still had fun. Most of the days consisted of taking freshmen to info sessions and entertaining them with ice breakers. The ice breakers were so much fun and they only got more fun when groups combined together. I would have to say the "winds are blowing" or question game was the biggest hit among the ice breakers. In these games you can learn a lot about someone but most of the time everybody was too busy laughing. As sad it is to say, this was my last summer working EXPO.

What a week

Sorry I have been away for the past week. I have one heck of a week. The big news is I am going to be an Aunt. My younger sister, who is 17 about the be 18 in July, is 5 months pregnant. She has been 'hiding/didnt know" it for the past few months but now it is out in the open and the family couldnt be happier. Hopefully sometime this week we will find out the gender. :) Words cant express how excited I am to finally be a "blood" aunt. I have 7 "step" nieces and nephews but I consider them my own :).

The baby bump :)

On the other hand, I have been busy with Expo- Freshman Orientation. What this means is I have to spend a week on campus, yes living back in a dorm, and being a mentor to all the freshmen as they transition from High School to college life. This is such a fun job but boy is it tiring. Here are some pictures to describe what Expo is all about.......

Wedding Wednesdays

It's that time again, Wedding Wednesdays & only 409 days left till the BIG DAY!!!!  I know my last post was Wedding Wednesday too but let me tell you, I did enough blabbering in that post to make up for a weeks worth of posts. I read back over it and thought to myself, wow this girl sure did blabber on and on. I guess I now know why my mom says I can talk to walls and I was voted 'Most Talkative' in High School :-/.
As far as this week's WW, it will be short and sweet. I am going to talk about the reception location.  By golly I believe that we may have found a place that Dusty and I can afford on our own. It's what we, well I, had originally planned but then I fell in love with the other place that we couldn't afford unless a miracle happened. So we are using a local historic site in our hometown, the Depot. There are some perks to it...It's close to the church (10 minutes away, closer than any other venue) and its adorable decorated. I believe we have a winner and it was my first choice to begin with.....remember to always go with your gut and follow your heart. As much as things may not always go my way for this day, I have to keep reminding myself that no matter what obstacles are thrown my way I am going to reach the ultimate goal, I will marry my best friend and a guy I cant wait to grow old with :) (Just shows how much I love him :)

The Depot...an old train station on the town's square

snatched this from facebook and this is Jacob Dean Photography who recently photographed a wedding a the depot.
